Advanced Placement Courses (AP)
Advanced Placement (AP) courses offer sophomores, juniors, and seniors opportunities to earn college credit while in high school. The College Board, the creators of the SAT, asserts, "AP courses give you a head start on college while you're still in the supportive environment of a high school classroom. Taking the end-of-course AP exam sends a powerful message to colleges and universities that you're ready for them and can enable you to gain admission, college credit, and placement into advanced courses." AP courses feature a college-level curriculum and are monitored by the College Board to ensure the classes meet the high college standards.
MCA currently offers seven Advanced Placement (AP) courses:

Early College Courses
Maranatha also provides Early College courses for juniors and seniors. We partner with local colleges to offer onsite and online classes, which allow our students to take university courses and earn college credit while remaining at Maranatha's campus. In addition, we work with universities such as Harvard, Berkeley, MIT to offer online courses for students who would like an extra challenge. The Director of International Student Academics works with students to select classes they can apply to their postsecondary education.
